Today Travelodge is one of the fastest growing and most innovative hotel chains with over 500 hotels across the UK, Ireland and Spain. We currently employ over 6,000 staff in the UK, Ireland and Spain and will open at least 13 new hotels in 2013. Great development programmes……
We’re extremely successful at developing and promoting our people internally and we’re always looking for new talent to join our teams. 70% of our management positions are filled by committed people already working in our company. Since 2009, we have seen over 400 people graduate through our Management Development Programme.

In April 2011, Travelodge launched the UK’s first budget hotel management apprenticeship programme for school leavers. The scheme titled JuMP (Junior Management Programme) is a fast track route into management and provides A -level students (18+) with a real alternative to going to university. On this programme school leavers can continue their education, obtain work experience, receive a salary and become a manager by the age of 21. Travelodge aims to have 45% of its managers via the JuMP programme by 2015.
