Channel "About" tab

In the About tab, you are able to view the channel’s description. Channel owners can add text as well as any links they have added to their account.

As a channel owner, you can add information about yourself or your channel for visitors to explore.  

There are four sections in the About tab: the channel description, editable links, featured channels, and subscriptions.  To edit any section, hover over the content then click the edit icon, 

• Channel description: In the text box immediately below the tab bar, you can add a channel description. The maximum length for this section is 1000 characters.
• Links: Icon links are featured at the top of your description and use the icon from the social network pages available.  You can have up to four icon links over layed on your channel art. Custom links appear below your Icon links and can be used to link to anywhere on the web. You can have your first custom link overlayed on your channel art by selecting Overlay first link on channel art. You are able to edit the name of the link (how it appears on your channel) and the shortcut icon, or favicon, will be added from the page.  The link title maximum is 30 characters. In this section, you will also have the option to display the number of views on your channel and the date you joined YouTube under Statistics.
• Featured channels: In the Featured Channels section, you can highlight other channels.  Edit the name of the section and individually add the URLs of YouTube channels you would like to link to.  This is a great way to cross-promote other channels with similar content. When viewing your channel, your visitors will see the featured channels on the right side of the page.
• Subscriptions: In this section, you can choose to make the channels you are subscribed to viewable by visitors to your channel. If you decide to make your subscriptions private, this section will not appear.
