    What does Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy do/ What can I do at WPNSA?
    WPNSA primarily offers its superb venue for sailing events and training, but also operates an active members’ club and welcomes everyone to enjoy its fantastic facilities whether you want to store your boat on the hard standing for the winter or hire the function room for a wedding.

    Do I have to be a member to use the WPNSA facilities?
    You do not have to be a member to use the facilities. If you want to go sailing for the day you would just have to purchase a day membership and pay harbour dues. Whilst you do not have to book, please ring first, particularly during the summer months, as we do get very busy with events.

    You do not have to be a member to use the boat hoist, hire the function room/ lecture rooms or have a coffee in the cafeteria.

    Do you have a restaurant?
    WPNSA prides its self on having one of the best sea views in Dorset and therefore our restaurant is available for table bookings of 25 or more. Alternatively should your dining party number less than 10 our we do have a cafeteria serving hot and cold dishes from 9-5 weekdays and 8-6 weekends.

    Does WPNSA have any disabled facilities?
    WPNSA offers excellent disabled facilities with ramps, braille signs, separate toilets and showers and a lift.

    Can I book a sailing lesson?
    Yes. WPNSA is in partnership with Sail Laser who are now responsible for delivering the sailing school. They have their own office at the Sailing Academy so please contact them direct on 0845 3373214 or www.sail-laser.com

    Can I come and train at WPNSA? If so, do I have to book and how much will it cost?
    Yes, all are welcome to come and train at WPNSA but you will have to book so please call us to check dates and availability first. Details of fees and a booking form can be found on the training page of the website.

    How do I book a boat lift?
    The boat lift is open to everyone – members and non-members whether you would like a survey or mid season wash off or long term storage. For more information, please click here

    Can I book a function at WPNSA?
    Yes, the function room is available for hire for meetings, business seminars, weddings and private parties. Please call first to check for availability. For more information, fees and a booking form, please click here

    Do you have Internet access?
    Internet is available free of charge.

    Where is the nearest place that I can stay in a Caravan/Campervan?

    Do you have storage space for storing a boat over the Winter?
    We do offer outside storage space in our dinghy park for the winter. Please click here for storage prices and a booking form, and ring us at reception (01305 866000) to determine availability of space and hoist out booking times.

    Do you have any moorings?
    WPNSA don’t own any moorings themselves. However, there are moorings available from either the RNSA or Quest Underwater Services. Access to the moorings is then given via a WPNSA Mooring Holder Membership which allows you to store/ launch a dinghy from the centre, car parking and use of the facilities.
