Waterfront Manager

Management of a safe beach operation. To include staff management, revenue generation, delivery of Sunsail and RYA courses, uphold company standards. Ensure all boat maintenance is carried out in a timely manner and that customer service is delivered to the highest levels at all times

Assistant Waterfront Manager

Assistant to Waterfront Manager, managing all aspects of the beach operation including staff management, revenue generation and the delivery of Sunsail and RYA courses and operating standards.

 
 

Senior Dinghy Instructor

As an SI you will be assisting in the training of all watersports staff on all dinghy equipment and demonstrate how to select appropriate kit to be used for clients’ needs and skills. You will be running formal and informal instruction through structured courses and weekly clinics for all age groups. Carrying out regular boat maintenance and repair damage to crafts as directed by the waterfront manager. Run effective rescue boat cover and maintain safety of the guests and craft at all times. Carry out beach duties, including rigging and de-rigging of equipment, launch and recovery of all kit. Also the running’s of weekly Regattas and Watersports excursions and in the absence of the Waterfront Manager assume management duties.

Watersports Instructor

As a Watersports Instructor you will be running formal and informal instruction through structured dinghy courses and weekly clinics for all age groups. Trainee Instructor

As a Trainee Instructor you will assist with professional instruction to all levels whilst ensuring a safe sailing environment. You will work as part of our watersports team to offer a high level of customer service at all times.
 

 

Waterski Instructor

As a Waterski/Wakeboard Instructor you will work alongside a small team to offer formal and informal instruction to all ages and abilities. As part of the Watersports team you will also be required to assist in the daily running of the beach.

Sunsail Yacht Jobs

Many of our Base Managers and Senior Managers started their careers on Flotilla or as Skippers and haven't looked back since.

 

Our Flotillas run from our bases in Greece, Turkey, Croatia, St Vincent, The Bahamas, The British Virgin Islands and Australia.  Our Yacht Charter bases are spread out throughout the world from the UK to the Caribbean and are positioned in some of the best sailing locations you can find.

 

For Flotilla, we recruit lead crews that consist of a Skipper, Engineer, Host and Kids Co-co-ordinator. We also recruit for Cruising instructor, Bareboat Skippers & Yacht Master Instructors. 

 
Skipper 

Skippers take responsibility of yacht preparation including deck cleaning, briefing clients on safety and yacht systems also throughout flotilla/charter to be able to share knowledge of local area in briefings and advising on sailing questions. 

 

Engineer 

Engineers take responsibility of completing service checks, yacht preparation, deck washing, briefing of clients on boats mechanical systems and safety equipment, engine servicing such as oil and filter checks/changes, maintenance of outboards for tenders, help with emergency call outs for breakdowns on any of the fleet and safety of all clients including safety briefings.

 

Host

Hosts are responsible for yacht preparation/ laundry/starter packs on change over day, sharing knowledge of local area, assisting clients with problems, issue & collection of questionnaires and other relevant paperwork with clients and organising with local restaurants for group meals and activities.

 

Kids Co-co-ordinator 

Kids Co-ordinators take responsibility of the daily briefings, yacht preparation and organisation of kids packs on change over day, safety of all kids, Knowledge of local areas to arrange shore bases games in port, sailing knowledge / skills to create sailing related activities for all children, keeping suitable ‘Toys & Games’ on the lead yacht & preparing treasure hunts, quizzes, activates through out there holiday. Also, make/ buy prizes for kid’s prize-giving at the end of each flotilla, socialising with guests, organising group meals, BBQ’s & punch parties, with special arrangements for the children and helping with the General running of the Flotilla. 

 

Cruising instructor /Skippers

Cruising Instructor /Skippers responsibilities are to skipper charters of up to 9 clients at a time, yacht deliveries and help, manage all outs and maintenance/ regular checks on equipment and specifically safety equipment. Also assist on base/ flotilla support when not on charter. Deliver RYA courses Run effective rescue boat cover, running of weekly Yacht Races and mini-flotillas, When on duty maintain a lookout over the whole sailing area and carry out beach duties, including rigging and de-rigging of boats and launch and recovery of all boats maintaining safety of the guests and craft. 

 

Yacht master instructors

Yachtmaster Instructors Co-ordinate paperwork and instructors for all courses, Drive revenue and promote courses available within resort, Ensure yachts are clean, maintained and set up per company standards and RYA requirements, to provide support and guidance to instructors, and provide on-going training as necessary, lead and motivate the instructors and provide excellent customer service at all times.
