It’s December 31^st and the clock is ticking. Tomorrow will be the first blank page of a 365 page album you can fill with your photos. Whether you decide to participate in a 365 Project or have your own pace, we want to invite you to celebrate the first minutes of 2014 with the Flickrverse:

Our new theme is inspired by an Eagles’ song from the 1970s. We want to see your interpretation of #HotelCalifornia, but of course not only in a lyrical way. If you are in California right now, even easier, but we’re sure you can also come up with great interpretations if you are somewhere else in the world. Build your own hotel california from building blocks, be creative with papercraft, or draw something. You can also do some other handycraft or come up with something completely out of the box, and then share your shots with us in the Flickr Friday group. The selection of the week, will be showcased right here on the Flickr blog. And don’t forget to reteweet us, or share our status so you can invite your friends to take part in the challenge.
