SAP 505 World Championship 2007
Adelaide, Australia

Californians Mike MARTIN and Jeff NELSON (USA) took the honours at the 505 Pre-Worlds, the warm up event for the SAP 505 World Championship in Adelaide, Australia. MARTIN, who is a former World Champion, and NELSON, who has previously finished second, showed great consistency and remarkable speed when the wind freshened.
Second were their training partners, Howie HAMLIN and Fritz LANZINGER (USA), also from California. Ian PINNELL and Steve HUNT (GBR) finished third in the 92 strong fleet.

The best place Australian and the winner of the Australian Championships, was Michael QUIRK and Geoff LANGE of NSW. The pair won their second Australian Championship in a row, after finishing fifth overall in the Pre-Worlds.
