Racing will be held from 22-27 January on the waters of Biscayne Bay, with a host of World and Olympic Champions and world #1s lining up. Other names to look out for include 2006 ISAF Rolex World Sailor of the Year Paige RAILEY (USA) and Athens Olympic gold medallist in the Europe Siren SUNDBY (NOR). SUNDBY has not sailed in an ISAF Graded regatta since the 2005 470 Europeans, but lines up in Miami alongside Lise Birgitte FREDRIKSEN and Alexandra KOEFOED (NOR) in the Yngling.

Polish windsurfers Przemyslaw MIARCZYNSKI (POL) and Zofia KLEPACKA (POL) cleaned up at the recent ISAF Grade C1 RS:X North American Championships sailed on Biscayne Bay, whilst victory on at the ISAF Grade C1 470 North American Championships went to Sven COSTER and Kalle COSTER (NED) and Christina BASSADONE and Saskia CLARK (GBR).

JOBSON To Produce Daily Webcasts

For those who cannot make it to Miami to witness the intense competition firsthand, for the first time in the history of the event, Sailing Hall of Famer, author and commentator Gary JOBSON will produce exclusive daily video reports from US SAILING's 2007 Rolex Miami OCR next week. NBC will stream the daily webcasts on their web site, which will be linked from hwww.rolexmiamiocr.org.

The City of Miami and the Miami Dade Sports Commission also support the event.

In addition to title sponsor Rolex Watch U.S.A., the 2007 Rolex Miami OCR is also sponsored by all the partners that support the US Sailing Team: Nautica, Vanguard Sailboats, Zodiac, Gill, Harken, Sperry Top-Sider, Nikon, New England Ropes, Extrasport, and McLube.
