Giorgio Zuccoli, 43 from Iseo Lake (Italy), died on Tuesday morning after a six years struggle against cancer.
He was one of the top italian sailors in the 80's and 90's. He won the Tornado Worlds in 1991, was the Italian Olympian representative in the class for Italy in 1988 and 1992 and won Melges 24 Worlds in September 2000 while battling against the cancer.

His sail loft, Ullman Sails in Iseo, provided the benchmark sails for the Tornado for many years the best sails in Olympic Tornado.

Ciao, Giorgio, you were one of the best and we know you'll sail forever. Our love to his wife Cristiana, his daughter Maria Vittoria, his friend Pablo Soldano and all who remember him.
