I am a little confused here with  German Chancellor Angela Merkel. She grew up in East Berlin, under Russian influence, and dominance. Plus the Brutality for no other reason other than she was German. She also learned to speak Russian. She had no other Choice. When the wall came down and Berlin was reunited. Now that the city is One again? I guess. Now Angela Merkel the Chancellor of Germany in my opinion does not show enough contempt towards Putin and Russia? Why would Germany even be in an Arms deal with RUSSIA to begin with? Just because of Natural Gas, and Oil that's no reason to Kiss Putin's Ass. Give him an Inch now and you will regret it later. The real Bottom line is there is no Love loss between Russia, and Germany. And that's a fact. Like it or not. If it was not for the United States Germany would have been gone Years ago.
