All Member National Authorities with an established National Training Programme (NTP) can apply for ISAF Recognized Training. The ISAF Recognized Training Accreditation provides a framework against which an NTP can be tested to ensure certain core elements are in place and at a sustainable level.

An ISAF Inspector will use the ISAF Learn to Sail Training Programme as a master reference but takes into consideration the specific local conditions and objectives of each NTP.

Accreditation can increase access to government and / or commerical funding for MNAs and a globally recognized strandard of training for the sport of sailing.
