Tomorrow's race restart has been rescheduled to 1500 local time (0700 GMT) from 12 noon to allow time for more training sails ahead of the race restart. The boats will be blessed tomorrow morning before heading off to start the race in Subic Bay.
A number of the yachts have been out sailing this afternoon. Clipper Chairman Sir Robin KNOX-JOHNSTON (GBR) joined westernaustralia.com's new skipper Mark PREEDY (GBR) for a sail in the afternoon, along with Victoria, Uniquely Singapore, Cardiff and Qingdao. Sir Robin will be out on the water for the restart tomorrow.
Crews and skippers are working flat out from dawn to well beyond dusk to get their yachts ship shape for tomorrow's race restart. Final provisions are being loaded onboard and sails are being packed ready for the 1400 mile race to Qingdao in China.
The ten yachts are now lined up in front of the Subic Bay Yacht Club being readied for the off. In less than a day, the Clipper Round The World Yacht Race 05-06 will be back on.
