Racing has got underway in difficult conditions on the first and second day at the 2.4 Metre World Championships in Tonsberg, Norway.
At the first day of the championship the host club was able to arrange two races under extremely difficult wind conditions.
However, the 89 sailors from 12 nations were satisfied after the first day of the event.
After the first day the Norwegian sailor Ole B Eide is in the lead with the the German sailor Heiko Krôger on the second.
The first race on the second day was also arranged under difficult wind conditions. At last during preparation of the second race the wind from south increased and very good sailing conditions were established.
After the second days racing Kroger took over the lead.
