This weekend sees the RHKYC welcome on board a new sponsorship partner, Timberland Hong Kong, for the culmination of its 2003-2004 sailing season.
Timberland Spring Regatta 2004 will take place in Victoria Harbour, a prime venue for yacht racing in Hong Kong since the first harbour regatta was held in 1849.
Open to entrants from all of Hong Kong's sailing clubs and with around 80-100 boats expected to compete in ten classes, the Timberland Spring Regatta will bring Hong Kong's stunning harbour backdrop alive with sail.
The start line and courses will be set on the day by Race Officer Ronnie McCracken, his selection being influenced by wind and tidal conditions. On Saturday the Cruiser class starts the action at 1355hrs, while race 2 starts at 1125hrs on Sunday, with race 3 to follow. ]
