Throughout the 2004 Olympic Sailing Competition the ISAF Website will bring you the latest mark by mark roundings, results, reports and images from the race course as it happens.
The mark by mark roundings are being fed to the ISAF Website direct from the ATHOC system. The mark by marks will be displayed with no more than a two minute delay from the action happening in Greece. A status report will show viewers exactly which races are in progress, enabling you to click directly through to your chosen event, and watch the race unfold. Deltas will show the distance behind the leader of the rest of the fleet as they round each mark.
Provisional results from each race will be available on the ISAF website within minutes of the final boat crossing the line, alongside the cumulative results. Results data will also detail an athlete's progression through the series, showing their overall position after each race.
All results and mark by mark roundings will link directly through to the athlete's ISAF Sailor Biography, which details the sailor's personal information, world ranking, career history and images.
Many ISAF Sailor Biographies link through to the sailor's campaign website, giving you a thorough insight into their Olympic campaigns.
The ISAF Media Team will bring you the latest news from Athens throughout the Sailing Competition. With sailors from 59 nations and 33 Olympic Medals up for contention, ISAF will bring you the news from a variety of angles. A daily morning report will bring you the low down on the day's schedule, weather update, racing taking place and key events taking place.
After racing, ISAF will publish a daily wrap report from each event, a view from the front of the fleet, movers and shakers in the rest of the fleet, outstanding performances and all the action from the day's racing, complemented by images from ISAF's Official Photographers.
Alongside the reports, ISAF will bring you the news from around the venue, profiles will introduce you to key personnel, features will present the story that so many athletes have to tell of their own "Road to Athens", and behind the scenes features will give an insight into the infrastructure behind the Olympic Sailing Competition. ISAF will bring you facts and figures of the Olympic Sailing Competition - join us in celebrating sailors' birthdays, youngest and oldest athletes, most capped Olympians and more.
From today, 30 July, ISAF is publishing an event by event preview of the runners and riders across the eleven events, starting with the Single-Handed Dinghy Women - Europe.
