As of today, answers to these questions can be found in the new Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) section of the website.

The FAQ section on www.olympic.org features five major categories: "Sport and the Olympic Games", "Structure of the Olympic Movement", "Olympic Museum in Lausanne", "Olympic Studies Centre" and "Give Your Opinion". With more than 70 Q&As, the FAQs are bound to satisfy the savviest visitor!

Games, Sports, and More Than 300 Heroes
The Olympic Movement website contains thousands of pages featuring medal tallies of all the Olympic Games since 1896, descriptions and illustrations of all Olympic sports (and their respective disciplines), and biographies of more than 300 Olympic heroes with extensive photo and video galleries.

An Olympic First
www.olympic.org attracts over 40,000 visitors per day, a steadily increasing figure as the Games of the XXVIII Olympiad in Athens draw closer. During Games time, www.olympic.org will feature special links to www.athens2004.com, which will host all the biographies of the athletes participating in the Olympic Summer Games in Athens as well as competition schedules and live updates. This mine of information has never been offered before on any Olympic Summer Games website!
