As the level 2 Technical Course is open to suitable candidates from the continental geographic region, ISAF and South African Sailing would like to invite African countries to send suitable candidates to take part.

The level 2 Technical Course for Coaches is aimed at building specific coaching fundamentals that will enable the successful participants to train Level 1 Coaches through their own National Sail Training Programme (NSTP) and deliver structured training courses with measureable outcomes based on a solid foundation of newly learnt coaching skills and practical exercises.

Any African Countries that would like to participate in this, the first course of its kind in Africa, are urged to contact the ISAF Training and Development department. Click here to get in touch.

Rob M'Crystal, President of South African Sailing and member of the ISAF Development and Youth Committee commented:

With the help of ISAF Training and Development department, we have begun to implement our NSTP in line with the standards laid out by the ISAF Learn to Sail Training Programme (LSTP)."
