Event Website Launched

Junior 470 World Championship 2005

St. Petersburg, Russia

The website for the 2005 Junior 470 World Championship is online now. The event will take place in St. Petersburg, Russia from the 25 July-2 August 2005.

The 2005 Junior 470 World Championship Website contains the Notice of Race and Entry Forms as well as a schedule of the events and details about accommodation. It will shortly be updated with details of special VISA arrangements that are being made at the moment.

The Championship is to be held in the beautiful surroundings of the National Congress Palace Strelna, in St. Petersburg and will be preceded by the Xth International Baltic Regatta from 18-24 July. Entries for the Junior 470 World Championship close on 24 June.

Three weeks before the World Championship, Europe's Junior 470 sailors will be contesting the Junior 470 European Championship 2005 in Tallinn, Estonia, from 7-15 July 2005. Already Germany has stated their ambition by sending a mass of young sailors. The German 470 Association will be represented by no less than 20 teams at the year's Championship.
