The ISAF Codes now published on the ISAF website are in the exact text and format in which they will appear in the ISAF Racing Rules of Sailing and the ISAF Regulations. There have been some detailed changes and it is important to ensure the newly published versions of the Codes and not those previously published on the ISAF Website are used.

From 1 January 2001, the following Racing Rules of Sailing Appendices become invalid and are replaced by the relevant ISAF Codes. From 1 January 2001, all references in the Racing Rules of Sailing to these Appendices are automatically to the ISAF Codes

Appendix G - Advertising becomes Regulation 20
Appendix K - Competitors' ISAF Eligibility becomes Regulation 21
Appendix L - Banned Substances and Banned Methods becomes Regulation 19 - ISAF Anti-Doping Code
