The ISAF Olympic Windsurfing Equipment Evaluation Event concluded on 8 May in Torbole, Italy and the Evaluation Panel report is now available.
The Evaluation Event followed the successful Presentation Event held in Cadiz in September 2003 and saw 18 sailors testing the equipment provided by seven manufacturers during a light and rainy week on Lake Garda.
The Evaluation Panel of Richard JEFFRIES, Chris ATKINS, Jorunn HORGEN, Mike GEBHARDT and Qu CHUN have now completed their report which was presented to Council by the Events Committee at the 2004 ISAF Mid-Year Meeting in San Diego, USA.
The report summarises the conclusions of the Evaluation Team on the suitability of alternative windsurfing equipment for racing in order to assist the Council in its choice of the specific Equipment to be used at the Olympic Sailing Competition in Qingdao in August 2008.
The report is now available on the ISAF website in the Olympic Windsurfing Equipment Evaluation Event Microsite and via the link below.
