Bromby had been OCS in race 1 on Monday, but has since been almost perfect. He's 8-1-2-1 so far in the 7 race series and he has a discard to burn. Bermuda rival Tim Patton is right there with Bromby, scoring 2-4-3-3 so far. They are tied without the throw-out and American Tim Lynch is one point off the pace.

In the J-24 class, Bermuda's Trevor Boyce and Canadian Rudy Wolfs are tied with 11 points. Sean McDermott, also Canadian, is two points back.

J105's are also knotted in a three-way tie for second. Mark Cloutier still leads, but Glenn Astwood and Hilton/Riker are deadlocked with last year's champ John Thompson.

Craig Davis Bermuda favorite in the IOD class leads by the biggest margin of any keelboat class. He's 1-1-2-2 and leads Jan Petter Roed of Norway is 9 points back with 15

On the dinghy course Martin Vezina is also 9 points ahead of Malcolm smith and closely followed by Brett Wright in the 13 boat laser class. Light shifty winds have made sailing difficult on the dinghy course.

The 505 class continues to be dominated by Alexander Meller and Jahn Tihansky. Both have sailed consistently well but both have also made the mistake of finishing a race one lap short and paid the price with a high race score.

Racing today is limited to the IOD class but a full slate for the 64 international entries is scheduled for Thursday and Friday.
