C. Krebs and J. Redler (USA) have narrowly won both the Women's World Championship and the US National Championship, finishing only 2.25 points in front of K. Eikeland & J. Krefting from Norway.

Seven races were sailed in an event that saw four different race winners and only five points separating the top four competitors. In third place were B. Hallawell and S. Suarez (USA), themselves only two points ahead of A. Foglia & M. Foglia (URU).

Twenty-Seven boats converged on St Petersburg Yacht Club in Tampa Bay from as far away as Japan, Sweden and Norway and enjoyed some close racing throughout the week.
