Ten skippers who are among the best in the world will compete in two Round Robin series and four leading crews will race on Friday and Saturday for the trophy and the prize of 40 000 $.

The morning was spent in weighing the crews. Andy Beadsworth's crew was heavier than the permitted limit, which is 437, 5 kilograms, so they went jogging for an hour and came back with 5, 5 kilograms less.

Afterwards, everyone went to the draw for boats and the competitors went to practise.

The official opening ceremony will take place at the ACI marina at 8 p.m. The competitors will be welcomed by Mr Damir Miloš, Event Director and Mr Duško Mrduljaš, ACI President of the Board of Directors. The 16th ACI HTcronet Cup will be opened by Mr Miroslav Buličić, Deputy Mayor of the City of Split.
