Volvo Ocean Race

The fleet are all close tacking off the island strewn coast of Norway with twenty six nautical miles still to go to the lighthouse waypoint at Arendal.
The town of which was originally called 'the Venice of Scandinavia' because it was built on seven islands, with a network of canals surrounding it. The yachts are twenty miles west of Ivesteinen Island.

The Volvo Ocean Fleet are making slower progress now in a north easterly wind of twenty four knots from exactly the direction they wish to head in.

Amer Sports Too has made up considerably on the rest of the fleet, thirty two nautical miles in the last six hours and Djuice Dragons are now seven miles nearer to the leaders with twenty to go.
