Ha ha! This is great. Or, as our friends across the pond would say, "brilliant".

This was a good read (via +Amy Quispe). People who have the talent to write, visualize data and draw are super fortunate. I'm jealous of their skills.

Here's Bill Gates in 1986. The man was truly brilliant. This bit jumped out at me:

" INTERVIEWER: Does accumulating experience through the years necessarily make programming easier?

GATES: No. I think after the first three or four years, it’s pretty cast in concrete whether you’re a good programmer or not. After a few years, you may know more about managing large projects and personalities, but after three or four years, it’s clear what you’re going to be."

On the one hand, I can agree with him. On the other hand, it's disheartening, isn't it? Kind of goes against this idea that we have control over our destinies. Similar to this, Bas Rutten once claimed that you are either born with the ability to knock people out with a punch or not - all you can do in your life is increase the strength of your knockout or non-knockout punch.

This Auto Awesome stuff is pretty hilarious when it works. Looks like it ran against the entire history of all the photos I've ever uploaded! Here's a funny one from a good fair I went to last year. Idea: I wonder if I can set this as my profile picture?
