Marina Alabau Makes It Three In A Row

London 2012 Olympic Sailing Competition
Weymouth and Portland, Great Britain

Marina Alabau (ESP) won both of her races in the Women's RS:X to make it three bullets in a row and subsequently opening up an eight point lead.
The Spaniard has been in devastating form and her two bullets today added to her second and first on the opening day of the Women's RS:X makes for great reading as she sits on five points. Closest to her is Lee Korzits (ISR). The Israeli posted 7-2 today and trailed Alabau from the start of the fourth race unable to close in on her as the Spaniard won by ten seconds.

Sitting in the final podium spot is Moana Delle (GER) who has crept round quietly and has a steady scoreline that features a second, a fourth and two fifth place finishes. Her 16 points puts her six points ahead of one of the pre-race favourites Zofia Klepacka (POL) who has struggled with her consistency.

The Women's RS:X resume on 2 August at 14:00 local time on the Portland Harbour course.

Lee Korzits (ISR) - 13pts
Moana Delle (GER) - 16pts
Zofia Klepacka (POL) - 22pts
