Racers across Optimist Beginners, Optimist Helmsmen and Cadet race out of San Fernando headquarters whilst the F18, Laser, Laser Radial, 420 and 49er raced out of the North Basin.

Yago and Klaus Lange grabbed the 49er fleet lead early in the competition and held onto it through to the end despite a final day comeback from Maria and Thomas Segers Wagmaister. Yago and Klaus ended up two points ahead of their rivals in the six boat fleet.

Esteban Blando and Eugenia Bosco (ARG) led from start to finish in the F18 and opened up their week in fantastic fashion, taking the first three race wins. In a fleet of seven boats across an eight race series Blando and Bosco remained consistent to take the victory.

The standout performance of the week came from Nahuel Ponce and Lucas Proden. The pair won all seven races to seal a resounding victory in the Cadet class, finishing 14 points ahead of their nearest rivals.

Julio Alsogaray (ARG) was almost perfect in the Laser fleet but on a first race fourth blighted a near perfect record as he picked up five race wins from six races. Lucia Falasca (ARG) also finished well ahead of the competition in the Laser Radial with six top three results.

Things were a little tighter in the 420 as Mariano Victory and Matías Maffei (ARG) and Pedro Ciscato and José Villar (ARG) finished tied on nine points. The pair enjoyed a hard fought battle throughout the week but the result was settled on countback as Victory and Maffei came out on top with two firsts, two seconds, and two thirds compared to the runners up who had a final race fourth to their name.

Tadeo Funes de Rioja took the honours in the Optimist Class Beginners whilst Philip Cosentino won the Optimist Helmsmen Fleet.
