Sochi 2014 Paralympic Games
The 2014 Winter Paralympics, officially known as the 11 Paralympic Winter Games, will be held from 7--16 March 2014 in Sochi, Russia. On 4 July 2007, the International Olympic Committee selected Sochi as host of the games. This will be the first time Russia has hosted the Paralympics and will be the début of Para-snowboarding at the Winter Paralympics.[1] Para-snowboarding will be placed under the Alpine skiing program during the 2014 Games.
