London 2012 Olympic Sailing Competition
Weymouth and Portland, Great Britain

A four way battle will ensue today in the Laser Radial with a winner takes all battle between Lijia Xu (CHN), Marit Bouwmeester (NED), Annalise Murphy (IRL) and Evi Van Acker (BEL) set for the Medal Race.

Just one point separates the four sailors and whoever comes out in front on the Nothe Course will be crowned Olympic Radial Champion.

Tom Slingsby (AUS) all but has the Laser gold medal in his hand as Pavlos Kontides (CYP) trails him by 14 points. But as seen yesterday in the Star race anything can happen. Just one point separates Rasmus Myrgren (SWE) and Tonci Stipanovic (CRO) in third and fourth and that will be one fight to watch.

A southwesterly 12-15 knot breeze welcomes the Laser and Radial Medal Racers today with gusts in between 15-20 knots.

Nathan Outteridge and Iain Jensen (AUS) could wrap up gold in the 49er today as fleet racing comes to a close whilst the Men's 470 pick up where they left off after their lay day.

Follow all the action on the ISAF Olympic Live Blog which will bring competition updates and instant reactions to the action on the race course. Fans can check in and ask our media team questions to get the very latest information. The blog will start one hour before racing each and every day of the competition.
