Recording artists Kelly Clarkson and will.i.am revealed the 2013 American Music Awards (AMAs) nominations in New York City on ABC's Good Morning America. Five categories were announced live on air followed by a press conference to reveal the remaining seventeen categories at B.B. King's Blues Club & Grill in Times Square (see full list of nominees).
It was also announced that Miley Cyrus and Imagine Dragons will be performing on this year's show which will be broadcast live from the NOKIA Theatre L.A. LIVE on SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 24th (8:00-11:00 p.m. ET/PT) on ABC. Additional acts and presenters will be announced in the coming weeks.
Macklemore & Ryan Lewis lead this year with six (6) nominations. Taylor Swift and Justin Timberlake follow with five (5) nominations each, while Florida Georgia Line, Rihanna and Robin Thicke collected four (4) nominations each. Additionally, Bruno Mars and Imagine Dragons were nominated for three (3) awards. This year's 2013 Artist of the Year nominees are: Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Bruno Mars, Rihanna, Taylor Swift, and Justin Timberlake.

Artists will be honored in the genres of Pop/Rock, Country, Rap/Hip-Hop, Soul/R&B, Alternative Rock, Adult Contemporary, Latin, Contemporary Inspirational, Electronic Dance Music, as well as categories for Top Soundtrack, New Artist of the Year Presented by Kohl's, Artist of the Year, and for the first year-ever, "Single of the Year."
Preceding the ABC broadcast for the 5th consecutive year is the Coca-Cola Red Carpet LIVE! @ The 2013 AMAs pre-show, hosted by Lance Bass, Rosie Pierri, Jordin Sparks and Jenna Ushkowitz. This year's performers include Kurt Hugo Schneider, Jabbawockeez, Jesse McCartney and 5th Harmony. Live coverage will stream online for fans worldwide starting at 5pm Eastern / 2pm Pacific on November 24th and, for the first time, will be available on Yahoo.com, this year's official digital distributor of the American Music Awards Experience. The stream can also be watched at TheAMAs.com, ABC.com, Time Warner Cable's Facebook page, and the websites within the Cumulus Radio Network, the AMAs official radio partner.

American Music Awards are voted on by the fans. For the seventh year in a row, winners will be determined by online voting. Starting today, fans can vote at the Coca-Cola AMA voting site AMAvote.com. In addition, for the first time in AMAs History, fans will also be able to vote for their favorite artists via Twitter.
Viewers will also get a second-screen experience jam-packed with "snack-able" videos, photos, GIFs, memes, "Insta-Fashion Pops", "Thank You Cam" shout-outs, and much more across every major social platform.
In collaboration with Twitter, Twitter Mirrors will be placed in select backstage areas. The "selfie stations" will provide a candid look into the backstage scene. Also, this year, the AMAs and Twitter will debut the first-ever VINE 360 FASHION BOOTH placed right in the middle of the red carpet. Fashion buffs around the world will have a front row seat to an unparalleled close look at celebrity red carpet fashion - in REAL TIME.
In addition, we are inviting some of the AMA Nominee's biggest Super Fans as top music, fashion, and entertainment social media influencer/super stars to cover the event LIVE! They will have access to exclusive content that viewers will only be able to get from them.
