Osborne Bay claimed anchoring ban
Public Right of Navigation upheld in Osborne Bay.
The RYA successfully upheld the Public Right of Navigation in Osborne Bay (Isle of Wight) following attempts to close this area to boats wishing to make passage or anchor.
The Bay remains open to yachts with an inshore bathing area marked by buoys.
This area is a voluntary no anchor zone to enable swimmers to enjoy the bay from the shore.
