Scheduled Top Up

Call 1749 or go online to schedule your weekly/monthly top up with your registered details - simple.

Text

Freetext TOPUP, the amount and the last 4 digits of your registered card details to 50406 - eg. TOPUP20 1234

Out of credit? No worries! Send a free message to any Irish mobile asking them to call you. To send a call me

dial 103 the recipient's mobile number# and press call,
i.e., *103*0861234567#

Credit me

Short on cash? Why not send a free message to another O2 customer asking them to top you up. Simply

dial 108 the number you want to text and #
i.e. *108*0861234567#

A message will be sent to this number asking them to top you up. Then can then dial 1743 to top you up using a Credit or Laser Card or by adding the credit to their bill.

Lend me

Running low on credit? Borrow €2 credit from us if you have less than 50c credit.

Call 1741 and option 5
to get this service. When you top up next €2 shall be taken from your account along with a 25c charge.

To qualify for this service you must:

  • Have topped up by at least €5 in the last 3 months
  • Have 50c or less credit
  • Have paid back any previous Lend Me amount. This means you can only use the service once between any 2 top ups.

Voucher Top Up

Dial *102*voucher number# in to your phone and press call.

You can also dial 1741, enter your mobile number and follow the prompts.

Bank Top Up

AIB, Bank of Ireland and Permanent TSB customers can top up through your bank.

This can be done through ATM, online, phone or text.

Before you can add a pass you will need to make sure you have enough credit. You can top up online or with a voucher.

Once you’ve topped up or have credit on your account you can buy a pass.

Instant Top Up

Top up yourself or someone else.

  • You don’t need to login
  • You don’t need to be an O2 customer.
  • You just need your card details and the O2 Prepay number you want to Top Up.

There are 3 passes to choose from.

  • 24 Hour pass - 50MB of data for €3.99
  • 7 Day pass- 2GB of data for €9.99
  • 30 Day pass- 7.5GB of data for €19.99

Each pass lasts for the outlined 24 hours, 7 or 30 days, or until the data is used, whichever comes first.

Once you have topped up your account and picked a pass:

  • Log in to O2.ie and access My Account.
  • Click Choose Pass.
  • Select the pass you'd like
