Moth World Championship 2007
Torbole, Italy

Rohan VEAL (AUS) continued his domination of the Moth World Championship in Torbole, Italy, scoring another three bullets on Lake Garda yesterday to give him a perfect five-point score after five races. Fellow Australian Scott BABBAGE (AUS) lies second overall after a windy and very cold day of racing.
After day two of racing was abandoned due to the lack of breeze, moderate winds were forecast for Thursday's racing out of Torbole. VEAL won the first race by a distance, before streaking away with race 2 as the wind built up to 20 knots.

The fleet were sent back to shore to warm up after almost everyone had been caught out by the unexpectedly cold wind and water. Out they went again for race 5 of the series at 18:00 and VEAL was once again a clear winner, giving him a perfect five bullets from five races. BABBAGE was 2,5,2 for the day and is nine points behind VEAL in second place. Sam PASCOE (GBR) lies in third place overall, ten points further back.
