A young sports fan from Slovakia has been announced by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) as the winner of the Nanjing 2014 Youth Olympic Games Medal Design Competition.

Hungary's Jonatan Vadnai and Maria Erdi took the overall and female titles at the Byte CII World Championship in Newport, USA after 13 races.

The champions have been crowned at the Techno 293 World Championship in Sopot, Poland with Israel and Russia taking the spoils in the Youth division and Israel and Italy the Junior titles.
