From staff training to a one day event, a Sunsail Event is a chance to taste the yachting lifestyle and bring a unique experience to your team building or hospitality experience. Our event coordinators will organise every detail, including travel, accommodation, food, entertainment and branding requirements. We will tailor your experience to your exact needs, aspirations and budget, for novice or seasoned sailors alike.
Racing and Regattas
In the UK, our fleet of identically matched 40ft yachts can cater for group of up to 300, all expertly skippered by skilled professionals. Yachts are also available for independent and private charter.
You can join Sunsail for events such as Rolex Big Boat, AAM Cowes Week and J P Morgan Round The Island Race. Around the world you can take part in some of the biggest events including St. Martin Heineken Regatta, Antigua Race Week, BVI Spring Regatta and King’s Cup in Phuket.

Our Boats
Our identical fleet of matched cruiser / racer Beneteau First 40 yachts is the largest one-design charter fleet in the world. Specifically built to our specifications and maintained to the highest standards, they ensure that in a competitive situation there are no unfair advantages.
Our F40's take up to 12 people or 8 overnight and can be hired with skippers or without, if you have relevant experience.

- Do I need any sailing experience?
You don't need any sailing experience to take part, we can provide professional skippers to guide you on your way and help you get the best out of your sailing event.
- Do I have to join an existing event?
You can join an existing sailing event, or our dedicated Account Managers can help build your own event, tailored to your team size and budget.
- Can I combine a corporate event with time on shore?
Yes, our shore-side facilities at Portsmouth Harbour Yacht Club (PHYC) are available for hire and can cater for any party size.
- How many people can fit on a boat?
Our F40 yachts are equipped to sail with a maximum of 12 people, including your own, or our hired skipper and first mate. If you have an overnight event then it is a maximum of 8 people, including skipper and first mate.
