Corporate Event - Sailing - Brighton

Corporate groups in Brighton can enjoy learning to sail and even yacht racing from Brighton Marina and get a view of the city from the sea.

Yacht sailing
Enjoy in your own yacht adventure! After a short briefing with the skipper you will motor out of our base at Brighton Marina. The session will start with getting to grips with the basics of sailing under the watchful eye of one of our professional yacht skippers. Once the sails are hoisted, you will have the privilege to view Brighton from the Big Blue! You can get involved in the sailing as much as you want or sit back and have a more leisurely experience, you can even race.

• 95% of equipment and staff are in house - we are not an agent we are the provider
• We have run events for groups of over 300 people
• Fully Risk assessed and insured ( Documents can be emailed to you)
• All specialized equipment is provided, including wetsuits where required.
• Suitable for complete beginners or those with a little experience
• Full club house facilities with changing rooms, lockers, hots showers, cafe and free WI-FI

Sample programe for half day Yacht Racing event for 40 people from Brighton:

2pm: Arrive at Lagoon Watersports at Brighton Marina. Meet the skippers and staff for pre sailing briefing.

2.15pm: Get changed into sailing gear provided by us and head to your boats.

Boats - we will provide 5 or 6 boats and skippers

• Board your boat and receive shore based introduction
• Head out from Brighton Marina doe approx 90 mins of sailing training
• All crew members will get the chance to be fully involved in the sailing. Team members will get to steer, work the sails and winches.

3.30pm: Racing 

• All boats will gather for a series of races.
• Skippers and team members will race there boats around a course at sea.
• There will be a number of races and score will be kept of finishing places in each race.

5.00pm: Return to shore

• Get changed.
• Prize giving of Cava for the winning teams.

5.15pm: Event ends.


How Many People? Minimum 5 for charter, 10 for racing (Max 8 per yacht)

How Long?  2 hours - Full day

Suitability:  If you are a non swimmer please inform us in advance

What to Bring? You may get wet ? we provide specialist clothing but please bring some extra clothing

Guide price : From £75 - £165 per person. Prices includes  all specialised equipment, full training, soft drinks aboard the boats and Cava at the end to drink on the boats. BBQ lunch at Brighton Marina Yacht club : From £17.50
