Squad Applications
Welcome to the British Keelboat Academy applications website for the 2012-2013 Squad.
The selection criteria is available on the 'How to get involved' page, along with other useful information about the British Keelboat Academy (BKA).
Guidance for completing the application process:
1. The application has 2 stages:
- Stage 1 will ask you for your contact details, RYA membership number, height, weight and which dates you are available to attend Selections.
- Stage 2 asks about you and your sailing background.
2. Please be aware that if you are lucky enough to be invited to come to a Selection event there will be an attendance charge of £75.
3. Sailors selected to become a member of the BKA Squad should also be aware that there is a membership fee of £500 per year (this can be paid in 2 parts). A small number of sailors may be offered some financial help towards this fee.
