The Apostle Paul wrote to the Church in Thessalonica "Brethren, pray for us" 1 Thessalonians 5:25. He knew that a successful ministry has no greater need then prayer. Prayer opens closed doors and makes a way where there is no way. Prayer convicts the hearts of sinners and comforts the hearts of saints. Prayer makes people generous in their giving and causes resources to be made available. Prayer encourages, empowers and guides those who serve.
Financial support
The Center for the Blind is a faith based ministry under Assemblies of God US Missions. It depends on gifts from individuals and churches who acknowledge the value of this ministry with financial contributions. Our services are free to the recipient because of generous gifts from people who care.

Volunteer
Volunteers from all across the country do a variety of work for this ministry. Volunteer readers record books, periodicals and Sunday school literature. Other volunteers duplicate tapes, prepare books for Braille, translate and proof read Braille, and do many other tasks. Last year volunteers put in over 5000 hours. They play a vital role in the success of this ministry.
