Disability Discrimination Law - the Equality Act 2010
The Equalty Act 2010 applies to private members clubs as well as RYA Recognised Training Centres. This section of the site looks at how to comply with the law.
The Disability Discrimination Act was replaced by the Equality Act 2010.
Private members clubs and Recognised Training Centres are under a duty not to treat disabled persons less favourably in terms of membership and must make reasonable adjustments in order to ensure its services are available to disabled persons
