Lucchese

This is the very first time that I ever invested any money in a nice pair of cowboy boots. It was the best pair of boots that I could ever have wished for. Thank you!

I just got my shoes today and they are awesome! Very comfortable and gorgeous. I'm sure they will be my favorites. Great arch support. I'm a physician and stand all the time, so cowboy boots have been my favored shoes for several years. It's great to have a pair that are cool enough to wear in the hot summer months. Plus, my patients think I'm very "cool" to be wearing cowboy boots!

Disappointed. I have purchased Lucchese boots in the past and they are wonderful. This pair WAS NOT. Poor fit and substandard leather for Lucchese. Also, the real Lucchese boots are made in the USA; these were made in Mexico. The decreased quality shows.

These boots are beautiful! When I opened the box I knew I wouldn't be able to part with them. I would recommend if you have a high instep to upsize. I am a size 6 in Frye, Ariat and ordered 6 1/2. This is my first pair of Lucchese, and based on reviews thought they would be pretty true to size. I should have probably ordered a 7 but that size was not available. I have to say I was committed to keeping these because I have never worked so hard just to get them on, one of the other reviews advised to use a grocery bag which finally worked. Once on they are just as others have said, comfortable and mold to your foot. I am pleased and now can't wait to wear these out. The color is a nice distressed taupe/grey which will go with everything and the stud detail gives off a subtle metallic bling, but not too dramatic. These are keepers.

I love these shoes. I am a giant fan of Lucchese. I have countless pairs of boots and slides. They range from Classics to Spirit of Lucchese. I always wear a 6. In these a 6.5. A 6 would have been way too small. These are comfortable right out of the box, very nice quality. I got on sale so even better value.

I love these. Sopped around looking at other boots in this color range but despite the price, I broke down and got these in the end.. I own quite a few pairs of boots but Lucchese's are by far the most comfortable and nothing beats the quality in the Classics Collection. I get compliments every time I wear these super cute blue boots.

I wore these to my Montana wedding. They were a beautiful accent to my lace and tulle gown. I saved them to wear for the first time on my wedding and and I was a little nervous about wearing them for the first time all day long, but couldn't have asked for a more comfort. They got me from 10:00am when pictures started, through the ceremony, first dance, and being constantly on my feet mingling through the reception and dancing, and no sore feet. I sill wear them on a regular basis, and get compliments on them every time. They're so comfy, and versatile. I can pair them with a skirt, or leggings and a flowy top.

First let me start by saying I never write reviews. After ordering and receiving these boots I feel compelled to tell anyone who may be lucky enough to fit in the few remaining sizes that these boots are not the ones to pass on. The buffalo calf leather is of unparalleled quality and lend to the most comfortable all-day kind of fit you are looking for in boots. Do yourself a favor and add them to your cart, you will not regret it; I know I do not.

Love this boot! True to size (I wear 7.5 or sometimes 8, 7.5 are snug on top and will stretch). Beautiful boot. The girl helping me said these are fillet minion my (cute Ariats) boots were hamburger helper! And I'm glad I put up the money, well made, quality REAL boot!

Great style, but very low instep. Even with thin socks and a shoehorn, I was not able to get my foot in. I've not had this problem with other Lucchese boots. Sadly, I have to return them.

I really wanted to love these boots. They have everything I'm looking for: interesting details, adjustable calves, grey/black color, metal rivets. But for some reason, they just didn't thrill me. They are a little short in the shaft height for a gal of 5'10" such as myself, so they only hit mid-calf. The toes are a little bit country and the shaft is a little bit rock 'n' roll... And sometimes that works, but for some reason this pair really didn't work for me. Boo. I went with the Madden Girl Cactuss in Black Paris instead. If you're going to buy Made in China, it might as well be cheap!

Very cool shoes but too narrow for my foot, size 10. (I couldn't even get my foot into it..) Unfortunately, I must return them.

These are my first pair of cowboy boots. I LOVE them. The color goes with everything, since it's somewhere between black, brown, and grey. The stitching is really beautiful. They are VERY comfortable. I walked a couple of miles in them the first time I wore them and they felt great. These run narrow. I have narrow feet and ordered my regular size 7 and they are perfect. However, I think if you are a true medium width you should order a half size up.

As a follow-up to my review, I am usually a size 9-91/2, ordered the size 9, too wide. I received the size 8 1/2 today, it is perfect. As I stated in my first review, I am a medium more on the narrow side of sizing. I think in the future I will order the size 8 1/2 in Lucchese.

Let me tell you Zappos is a great retailer, but I'm really disappointed in my long-time friends at Lucchese. I've owned at least eight pair of Lucchese boots and pledged to never let another boot touch my foot. I read the reviews before me and thought, Really! Obviously you have no idea how to size Lucchese boots! I was wrong. Until this last experience my eyes always light up like a kid on Christmas day when I open a new box of Lucchese boots. Honestly, I feel 10 feet tall when wearing Lucchese. I'm so disappointed. So much that I personally called Lucchese to share my feelings in hopes that this sort of thing would cease. I was told that any Lucchese boot number starting with an M was the Red Line and internationally made. You have no idea how many times I have bragged about my Lucchese hand stitched boots made in Texas. I've also joked at my friends wearing other brands of Ghetto-Boots. This boot arrived at my door, costing me a lot of money. Not really a sub-quality price for a sub-quality boot. I can't believe Lucchese would stamp their name on this product. I guess the joke is on me. Caveat emptor, my friends.

This is a really bold comfortable aviator style boot - the studs make for a strong-willed feminine touch without being delicate as with the Swarovski crystals, flower/leaf design, and the elegant stitching on other Lucchese styles. The contrast between the scuffed grey/black of the toe and instep and the cream with red capped shaft can work with a strong black, grey and winter white wardrobe, especially if you add a punch of red. Imagine a red tee under a a canvas aviator or leather bomber jacket...Wow!

These boots are gorgeous! I cannot tell you how many boots I have tried until I decided to go for color. I ordered the size 9 first and the fit was generous mostly in width. I am usually a 9 - 9 1/2, medium to the narrow rather than wide. I have now ordered the 8 1/2 and I am hoping because the suede is giving that the 8 1/2 will fit better. The hot pink is muted and soft and the stitching of the black and tan is defined. As always the Zappos service is excellent.

This was my first pair of hand made boots and Wow, how great they fit the first time I put them on. I have had many pairs over the years but these take the cake. They were a lot of money and I had to really think it through. In the long run - worth every penny and I will do it again. These are Classics and custom made, it's makes a big difference. I have the same style in black 1883 and even though I love them as well the comfort and fit when you first slide them on doesn't compare. If you are accustomed to wearing cowboy boots, you will be pleased! They also look awesome too. Every time I wear I get compliments.

Since the manufacturer recommended sizing down, I order an 11 (my usual size) and a 10 1/2. The 10 1/2s were fine width wise but were too short and oddly the 11s were too narrow. I don't understand why the 11s would be too narrow while the 10.5s were fine. Maybe it was a manufacturing issue. The boots are very pretty and I'm sad they didn't work out.
