2012 Formula 16 Australian Nationals

This year the Formula 16 Australian Nationals will be held at Lake Boga during the Easter regatta organised by the Lake Boga Yacht Club. The event will be organised from 6th - 9th April 2012. The club will set a windward return course with a separate start for the F16 Championship.

The Australian Formula 16 Association would like to invite the following classes to join the championship: Taipan Sloop with Spinaker, Taipan one up with spinnaker and Mosquitos.

Camping is available on the grassed foreshore next to the club, or the Lake Boga Hotel Ph 03 5037 2140 has a few basic rooms available.


Also Burrabliss B&B Ph 03 5037 2527 which is situated at the northern end of the lake, has units and a holiday house (sleeps 9) overlooking the lake available.


Swan Hill is 16 km away and has plenty of motels.

After four races Andrew Williams and Chris Monroe are leading the championships on their Taipan, one point ahead of of last years champions Andrian Fawcett and Jesse Dobie on their Viper.
