Take as many exposures as necessary, use PS function "Merge to HDR pro..." (you can directly import the RAW files), convert and save this...

Actually, my favorite cameras for B&W; shooting are Sigmas full color Foveons. Files have lots of latitude for B&W; conversions and incredible microcontrast which is even more important for B&Ws...;

Well, actually the medium format professionals prefered sticking to pixel-counting and moved up to 80+ MP digibacks. I hardly think 2 MP would be too compelling for their uses... ;)
