New Products from Nikon

Nikon annouced two new products last night: an 18-140mm DX VR zoom lens to serve as a versatile walk-around on your DSLR, and a compact SB-300 speedlight flash for DSLRs and Coolpix cameras equipped with a hot shoe. Both are available for pre-order now, and will begin shipping at the end of this month.

Silver Award

DPReview reviewed Sigma's newest version of their 17-70mm F2.8-4 lens, giving it a silver award. It's an nice upgrade to the 18-55mm standard kit lens that typically comes with a DSLR, offering a more flexible zoom range and maximum aperture.

K-50 and K-500 Now Shipping

Pentax's newest DSLRs are in stock now for two day or next day delivery. The entry-level K-500 can be purchased as a kit with either one or two lenses. The more rugged K-50 is available in multiple colors and lens configurations.
