I'm getting this too. I'm running iOS 5.1.1 on a iPhone 4s. Twitter App version 5.7 (should be the latest available). I open links in tweets on huffpost, thinkprogress, and now kotaku, and the page shows up for a second and then auto forwards to a twitter screen that says "jot" on the title line and "error while loading tweets, please tap to retry".

This also happened to me. iOS 5.1.1 on an iPhone 4 running latest Twitter, when opening http://bit.ly/15arA0h

I also found this problem with some links (telegraaf.nl & psv.netwerk.to), also iOS 5.1.1 on an iPhone 4 with the latest Twitter app.

I am having this problem as well. Also IOS 5.1.1 on iPhone 4S. Agree it is very annoying. Sometimes I cannot read an article linked via Twitter because of the error. Hope the bug is fixed soon. Thanks.

Wondering if they are working on this issue or not. It's pretty annoying that for many links, this issue occurs. A few updates have come out since this was reported but it's still not fixed.

I'm getting the same problem on latest version of Twitter app, iPhone 4 running iOS 5.0.1

Getting it on my orig gen iPad latest software update. Get it when clicking on links to some but not all HuffPo tweets. I don't get an error message, just a blank window with jot as title and write icon in upper left.

Still happening here, too, iOS 5.1.1 on 4S. I've started to use "Open Link in Safari" all the time just to avoid seeing the dreaded "jot" error message.

What the heck? Why do my links keep reverting to jot? Fix this please! It's annoying. Happens all the time now on my iPad.

Same thing on iPad1. Links show for a few secs and then flip to jot error message. Happening a lot.

It's the same for me with an iPhone 4, with iOS 5.1.1 (does it happen with iOS 6 ? I don't think so...).
Very disturbing...

I had the same problem with iOS 5.1.1 but finally upgraded to iOS 6 when an iPad version of the Google Maps app was released. Have not seen the "jot" error in twitter since my upgrade.
