This is the pair of Tevas I kept out of three that I ordered to check out before a 4-day canoe trip. The Hurricane XLT looked tough and nice for hiking, but was too big. The Mush was priced right, and was comfortable, but was almost too mushy and I didn't feel like I was getting much support. These seemed fairly comfortable out of the box. They're marketed as especially good in wet conditions, with 'spider' rubber, and since I was about to do a bunch of river-walking I went with them. The first thing I noticed was the radical topography of the foot bed. The entire length of the bed is pretty radically curved, with the heel set deep so that the arch support is quite accentuated. It threw me off at first - I was afraid my heel wouldn't want to stay in the very specific place it was meant to sit. But the silly little lip at the very back of the foot bed, which I expected to be annoying, in fact does hold my heel in pretty well. So with all that said, I would say the shoes are comfortable. The straps on these Terra Fi's are somewhat unique among Tevas, because every strap has substantial, soft cushioned padding. I thought that was pretty awesome. But after getting blisters on several parts of my feet on the first day of my canoe trip (which involved some canoe-carrying) I decided that these water-borne sandals are really meant to be wet at all times. When the padding is wet (which it was for most of the next three days) I don't notice it at all. But when it's dry, it rubs aggressively against my skin. Since I planned on using these exclusively for water-adventures though, I'm happy with my purchase. Once or twice on the trip I would step from one slimy river rock to another, with a loaded-down backpack on and a canoe above my head, and I thanked myself for going with the Teva's that were specifically marketed with 'spider-rubber' soles, since at that moment I was thankful for any extra traction I could get!

Darling, lightweight, easy dress that is perfect for summer. You can wear it with wedges to dress it up, or with a pair of flip flops. I am 5'9" and about 160, and a medium fit me great. Highly recommend!

Nice hat, indeed very bucket-like though. It's so loose and baggy at the top of my head - it's like it's meant for someone (with more hair than me) to stuff their hair inside a hat.
