LnA was launched in the summer of 2007 by partners Lauren Alexander and April Leight, Southern Cali natives who grew up by the ocean in the laid-back beach cities of San Diego and Malibu. Both moved to Hollywood in their early twenties where they met through a girlfriend in the Hollywood social scene. It was there that Lauren and April learned about each others passion for fashion.

Lauren Alexander had been designing her own dress line for a few years, already becoming an emerging and cutting-edge designer. Leight, a fashion fiend, loved to study fashion in magazines and across the world. Both knew they could work together to collaborate on new items that they yearned to wear, but could not find.

Their first collection was snatched up by trendsetting boutiques and major department stores across the world in under a year. And there is no sign of slowing down. In 2008, LnA decided to expand in to other hot items such as leggings, 80's-inspired hoodies, cardigans, and super fine cotton tees. All share the look of LnA - bright, bold, and offbeat. LnA is not only a line, it’s a lifestyle. You put one item on, and you easily get addicted.
