  • David Devenish

    David Devenish photo

    David is based at Woodside Church, Bedford, UK and is developing relationships with many churches in Russia and Ukraine, as well as working among unreached people groups in the 10/40 window. He has written several books including Demolishing Strongholds, What on Earth is the Church for? and Fathering Leaders, Motivating Mission and developed several training courses. He is married to Scilla and they have grown-up children.

  • David Holden

    David Holden photo

    David is lead elder at New Community Church, SE London, UK. He also travels internationally for the Newfrontiers team, particularly helping national team leaders. David is married to Liz and they have four grown-up children and an ever increasing number of grandchildren.

  • Edward Buria

    Edward Buria photo

    Edward is the founder and Senior Pastor of Kambakia Christian Centre. The church runs a popular TV programme, which is watched by millions in Kenya and beyond. He has planted many churches in Kenya and other countries in Africa and provides apostolic oversight for the Newfrontiers churches in the region. Edward and his team have been actively involved with the recent post-election crisis. He is married to Fridah and they have four grown up children: Mercy, Joy, Samuel and Joel.

  • Guy Miller

    Guy Miller photo

    Guy leads Citygate Church Bournemouth, where he has been since 1999.

    He oversees a group of churches in the South of England, as well as across India, Spain and Portugal. Guy is married to Heather and they have four children.

  • Jeremy Simpkins

    Jeremy Simpkins photo

    Jeremy & Ann have been involved in leading Newfrontiers churches for over 25 years. In December 2009, they moved from the North East to lead the new team at Christ Central. They both have a passion to see a large, vibrant Spirit filled church in the heart of Manchester.

    Jeremy is the Lead Elder at Christ Central and takes particular responsibility the preaching, worship, evangelism, Connect groups and training as well as leading the team of elders and the overall vision of the church. Jeremy also leads the 'North Team' for Newfrontiers, which currently has responsibility over 70 churches and church plants in the U.K and Canada as well as serving on the national Newfrontiers team.

    When they're not traveling, Jeremy & Ann love to walk in the surrounding countryside - usually ending with a visit to a local pub!

  • John Kpikpi

    John Kpikpi photo

    John is the senior pastor of City of God Church, Accra, Ghana, which began in 1992 in his home. It has now grown to a very vibrant church, which has planted thirty other churches. He has apostolic responsibilities in seven nations in West Africa. He is married to Alex and they have five children.

    John oversees a team of leaders that serve the churches in the Newfrontiers USA family. His primary focus is leadership training, church planting, and supporting churches in the States. John and his wife, Linda, are a part of Jubilee Church in St. Louis, MO.

  • Lee Yarbrough

    Lee Yarbrough photo

    Lee and his wife Stacey are called to planting grace-filled, gospel-centered , vibrantly worshiping churches throughout Latin America. Currently they are serving twenty Newfrontiers churches in Mexico, a new church plant in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and a church in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. Oasis, a group home for street children in Guadalajara, is a Newfrontiers Mexico ministry greatly aided by the oversight of the El Cambino church. Lee and his team are also increasingly aware of the vast number of Spanish-speakers in the USA, so that they have recently had fellowship with John Lanferman's team in the USA to consider the possibilities of joint endeavours in the States.

  • Mike Betts

    Mike Betts photo

    Mike is married to Sue and they have a grown-up son. Mike and Sue were born and brought up in Lowestoft and married in 1985.

    Mike is part of the Eldership team at Lowestoft Community Church and has an apostolic ministry working with churches mainly in the East of the UK and internationally across Europe and into Canada.

  • Peter Brooks

    Peter Brooks photo

    Peter and Susan Brooks both grew up in Sydney. Peter worked as a social worker in Sydney's West before travelling around the world, ending up in Brighton, England. There they visited the local Newfrontiers church, and stayed for the next 18 years, with Peter becoming the Senior Pastor. With their four children, they returned to Sydney in 2006. Peter is now the Senior Pastor of Grace City Church and regularly preaches here, and in his apostolic role oversees all the Newfrontiers churches in the Pacific region, travelling frequently within Australia, and to New Zealand, the Philippines, Cambodia and Japan. Susan works alongside Peter and her heart is to see women enjoying their uniqueness to God and being released into their giftings to serve Him wholeheartedly.

    PJ Smyth photo

    PJ and Ashleigh live in Johannesburg, South Africa. They have three sons. PJ leads GodFirst Church in Jo'burg as well as one of the Newfrontiers apostolic teams working in Southern Africa, involved with planting and strengthening local churches.

  • Ray Lowe

    Ray Lowe photo

    Ray is based in Hope Church, Orpington, UK, but travels extensively serving Newfrontiers churches at home and abroad. He left the legal profession in 1976 to lead the Newfrontiers church at Biggin Hill and studied theology at Spurgeon’s College where he got his passion for church history. His two other passions are golf and Manchester United.

  • Steve Oliver

    Steve Oliver photo

    In 1996 Steve and Heather Oliver and their three sons moved from Cape Town, South Africa, to Clarens in the eastern Free State. There they planted Dihlabeng Church. Steve has subsequently seen churches planted into neighbouring towns and across the border into Lesotho. He has a heart to see the poor not only impacted by the gospel but caught up in God's mission to reach the nations. He leads the Newfrontiers task team on Ministry with the Poor. Steve and Heather have recently moved from South Africa to lead the Newfrontiers church in Dubai.

  • Terry Virgo

    Terry Virgo photo

    Terry Virgo founded Newfrontiers in the 70s. In July 2011, Terry handed over the leadership of Newfrontiers to a group of men with increasing apostolic spheres of influence. Since 'retiring', Terry and Wendy moved from Brighton to London and are now based at King's Church Kingston. He continues to travel across the world serving churches and preaching at conferences.

    Terry has written several books, including The Spirit Filled Church, God's Lavish Grace, God Knows You're Human, The Tide is Turning and No Well-Worn Paths which is his biography.

    Terry is married to Wendy and together they have 5 children and a growing number of grandchildren (last count was 13!).
