It's not all lost yet. Maybe crop, selectively darken and blur the vegetation a bit? Would need a bit more effort than this rough effort but if it is your best shot, worth a spot of effort.

You really have to get closer/get the bird occupying more of the image. Fill the frame and the feather detail looks good on almost any lens. With a the bird occupying such a small part of the frame...

Not the same angle but I took the same plane on Sunday with Canon 100-400 and it would have been even better with a Canon 400mm F5.6L which is a lot lighter to carry and use!

That second one looks like blue in the tail so I would have thought juvenile Bluebird. There was not blue obvious in your first picture but that is probably the lighting or maybe the youngest birds...
