Today's Woot Write-up
When nothing seems to make sense -- turn to your viewfinder
David gasped as he bobbed to the surface. He couldn't remember how long he'd been under -- couldn't remember much of the last few minutes, or hours? The surface of the water rose in a slow wave -- was he at sea? Then he noticed that he wasn't submerged in water at all, but…maple syrup.
As the disappeared over the edge of the syrupy horizon, David spotted what looked like a tropical atoll within swimming distance. Mustering his last bit of energy, he doggy-paddled to the island and collapsed on its surface. He felt in his pockets and pulled out a Samsung DV100 Camera in a ziplock bag -- his only possession. He turned it on and the screen flickered to life.
David rubbed his head and tried to piece together his predicament, but could remember nothing. He searched the photos in his 16.1 MP dual-view camera, and the first image that popped up was a computer screen with the words "You're having memory problems" displayed in enormous typeface.
