5.0 out of 5 stars Ford Fusion Hybrid, January 28, 2010
A Kid's Review
We have owned Ford products since the late 1990s (1990 Taurus, 1995 Sable, 2000 Ford 500, and now a 2010 Fusion Hybrid). All of which gave us over 125,000 miles without any major problems. Some required some warranty work and two had a minor recall issue, which were quickly handled by our local dealer without any question. The Fusion Hybrid is a joy to use. It gives us great gas mileage, even in the frigid Michigan winter we are currently in, we drove it 70+ miles today with the outside temperature at 12 degrees F and averaged 36 mpg. When it was warmer this fall we were averaging in the low 40s on the freeways. It give excellent highway performance and you forget that you are not driving a standard gas powered midsized sedan. We have 5000 miles on the car and there have been no problems. Given the hardness of Michelin high gas mileage tires that are standard on this car I was afraid that handling on ice and snow would suffer, but I have been pleasantly surprised this winter. The Fusion has standard anti-lock brakes, traction control, and stability control. This car has been everything we expected and more. It is truly a revolutionary hybrid that feels like a regular car on the road.

About This Manufacturer

Ford Motor Company is an American auto company ranked as the world's fourth-largest global automotive business. It was founded in Dearborn, Mich., by Henry Ford, whose goal in 1903 was to make a car that everyone could afford. That goal was accomplished when he produced the Model T in 1908. Strong demand for the car resulted in the development of the first moving assembly line, which was...
