RYA unveils new prepaid MasterCard®

The RYA is pleased to announce a new partnership with Global Currency Exchange Network (GCEN) to launch a brand new member benefit; the RYA Prepaid MasterCard®.  

Available to all existing and new members, the RYA Prepaid MasterCard® is a cost effective way for you to buy currency.  With foreign exchange built in, prepaid cards are a smart way to travel enabling you to prepay currency on to your card in Sterling, Dollars or Euros (one currency per card) and can give you peace of mind, convenience and cost-savings so you can get on and enjoy your trip away.

Sterling, Euros or Dollars

On application for a card, members are guided through an online sign up process to purchase currency, which is then preloaded onto their RYA Prepaid MasterCard®, in Sterling, Euros or Dollars, where competitive exchange rates are fixed at the point of purchase. The card is then delivered, ready to activate and use, and like a debit card, the prepaid card can be used in shops and restaurants, or to withdraw cash from ATM’s worldwide.  

When you’ve spent the preloaded funds on your card you can reload it quickly and easily online, allowing you to travel internationally with greater flexibility and peace of mind, knowing you can use your card anywhere displaying the MasterCard Acceptance mark.
